Many domestic filter manufacturers simply copy and imitate the geometric size and appearance of the original parts, but seldom pay attention to the engineering standards that the filter should meet, or even know what the content of the engineering standards is. The hydraulic filter is used to protect the engine system. If the performance of the filter fails to meet the technical requirements and the filtering effect is lost, the performance of the engine will be greatly reduced, and the service life of the engine will also be shortened. As a result, inefficient and poor quality air filtration can lead to more impurities entering the engine system, leading to an early engine overhaul.
The function of the filter is to filter the dust and impurities in the air, oil, fuel and coolant, keep these impurities away from the engine and protect the engine system. High-quality and high-efficiency filters capture more impurities than low-efficiency and low-quality filters. If the ash capacity of both filters is the same, the replacement frequency of the high quality and high efficiency filters will be significantly higher.
Most of the inferior filters sold on the market have a short circuit of the filter element (impurities directly enter the engine system without being filtered). The cause of the short circuit is the perforation of the filter paper, the poor bonding or bonding between the end of the filter paper and the end, and the poor bonding between the filter paper and the end cap. If you use a hydraulic filter like this, you won’t need to replace it for a long time, or even a lifetime, because it has no filtering function at all.
